What to do if a bunch of people false report you?

Hello, recently I've been playing lots of GTA. My friends went to attack a person in a clan and after a while he said he would get a bunch of his clan members to false report my friends and I. What do I do to keep my account?

False reports caused "Avoid me" rep - Reputation system is easily abused.

Support have given you the wrong information.They often tell people to post on the forums when they can't help or don't know what to do which they shouldn't.

Rep is nothing at all to do with support so there is nothing anyone here can do other than direct you to the page I've linked.

False reports have no effect on your rep,if they did then there would be millions of people complaining.

In fact anyone who abuses the reporting system,like filing a lot of false reports,risks enforcement action on their account themselves.

Free games like Star Trek Online,Neverwinter,Trove & World of Tanks will help improve your rep but it will take time.

No one will reset your rep for you.Only you can improve your rep.

how can you say false reports dont exist after reading what I wrote? Obviously you didnt read the post if thats the conclusion you drew.

1. How did I cheat 21 Times? If I legitimately cheated by hacking (which is the only way to cheat on gears) then I wouldve been banned

2. 16 voice messaging reports? How can these be anything other than false reports when I dont use my microphone in game chat?

3. 3 reports against my gamertag? How can these be legitimate? What is offensive of about my gamertag?

4. 3 reports against my gamerpic? My gamerpic is the seriously gamerpic from gears of war? Microsoft reviewed the pic before they allowed me to use it so how can there be anything offensive about it?

If you think the reports made against me are anything but false then youre sadly mistaken.

Hi,

You shouldn't have anything to worry about here. All reports are looked at by real people, the system is not automated. Only things that break the Code of Conduct can result in a ban, false reports do not end in suspensions. Be careful though, too many
false reports and your own account can have a temporary suspension. Only report users who actually break the rules.

Unless you've done something to violate the code of conduct/terms of service, then you have nothing to worry about. They can be banned for filing too many false complaints.

You should realize that making false or uneducated reports only results in the reporters integrity diminishing.

I know the myths Iv already read it and I'm not posting this for enforcements to see I'm posting this because enforcements is a bunch of **** Iv had 5 other friend get banned because of false reporting because of random people

The thing that will prevent you from being banned is the person at Microsoft who will look at these false accusation, and...not ban you. An Xbox Live ban is not automatically given when a bunch of people complain against you.

People can not "hack" you. What they will try to do is trick you into giving them your log in information (phishing).

Reporting someones post that you don't like when it doesn't warrant a report is like calling the Fire Department about a fire that doesn't exist. If anyone should be reported, it should be BAD for crying wolf with a bunch of false alarms.
