    ok so i have gotten minecraft bedrock edition for free for owning minecraft xbox one edition and i am signed in on the right account on pc but i cant even install it on pc

So did you redeem a free copy before? Because owning the Xbox One edition doesn't mean we own a Bedrock PC edition.

    I think it is because it gave you the Xbox version of Minecraft not Minecraft for windows 10
