What the heck is code 0x80010108?

I need help. I keep getting error code 0x80010108. I've tried to restart my system and I've unplugged the HDMI cable and it still does not work. When I power up the screen is black, so I hit the Xbox button and it takes me to the menu where I try to sign
in...it says hi but it doesn't log me in and I can't see anything.

Open another Support ticket and have it escalated to Tier 2 during the work week.



PM one of the
six official support staff in the forums during the work week with the details of the Support ticket and either a repeat of what's gone wrong or a link to this thread.



File a complaing with the Better Business Bureau.



Microsoft isn't repairing your console, they're sending you "repaired" consoles. Assuming you opened support cases in a timely manner, you have documentation that now shows three failed consoles in just over a year's time.



Keep in mind it will take time to resolve this issue. Consumer support isn't Enterprise support. Things won't be resolved overnight, but with some patience they should be resolved to your satisfaction.

I personally would call the repair in to a customer service rep and try again. Sounds like it's being refurb-ed vs being replaced with the exception that the problem isn't being correctly corrected. Microsoft used to send the consoles to a repair center
in Texas, don't know for certain if this is still the case, where they were either repaired, replaced or rejected (sent back broken for warranty violations). Unfortunetly I would not know if you could specifically request a replacement or if a customer service
rep could specifically grant a replacement, but I would plead your case to a rep and see if you can get it rectify the situation.
