    my intermittent drive issues on my Xbox One resulted in a completely defunct disc drive, not recognising any game disc nor DVD. Rang Support and under their advanced exchange agreed for charge against my credit card until my original Xbox was in their custody.
    Replacement Xbox arrived, my original repackaged and delivered to UPS sa me day.

    installed updates, signed in and guess what, the replacement Xbox has a faulty disc drive. I know it's not my discs as they work on my sons Xbox. Rang support, kept relatively calm but essentially Microsoft will not send a further replacement until they
    receive my original Xbox. They will then instigate a new advanced exchange and place a charge against my credit card until safe return of their faulty replacement Xbox.

    heres the rub, Microsoft are not taking responsibility for the faulty replacement they sent. Microsoft are in a completely no risk situation as they are currently and will ba again holding a charge against my credit card until safe return. So I am bearing
    the inconvenience, the delay, the potential financial cost all due to Microsoft supplying faulty replacement goods. As soon as I hand over the console to UPS, Microsofts chosen courier, I have no control or influence what happens to the console, yet if it
    doesn't arrive in 14 days I get charged.

    by the way it didn't all run as smoothly as I have explained the situation, the first adviser on call back support put the phone down on me when I said I was unhappy and would be sharing the content of the conversion, the second adviser I rang said they
    couldn't help, and it was only the chat support with Rosie that got things into place. I was perfectly civil in all interactions with Rosie stating I was the most polite customer she had that day.

    I feel completely under valued as a long lasting Xbox customer, stood by Microsoft with countless 360 returns and encouraged friends, colleagues and family to purchase the Xbox One.

    I emailed Phil Spencer, in desperation, didn't get a response from him but got an email from Patrick, Customer Advocate. Guess what, they can't do anything but follow the advanced exchange program as laid out above. It is not what is said it is what is done
    when you feel your worth to a company you have loyally supported.

    Now I know my value to Microsoft.

  2. Why do I keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live Party?!?

    Every single day I play! My connection is really good, but when I'm in parties it goes very silent and it says everyone gets disconnected but it's really me! then sometimes it would say everyone left and it would leave in just my own party! Why does
    this keep happening?!

    NAT is open, and when I go to try Xbox live connection, everything goes perfect.... what the hell is wrong?

    what is wrong with your lousy server it just won't connect. In the middle of bingo it goes out It really Sucks. don't you have someone smart enough to fix????

    Have a post on here because I couldn't get ahold of them any other way but phone/customer service (thats a joke at best).

    So left a message here for them to see.

    Nope.

    Zero replies.

    At least you could make the attempt to get a replacement for your faulty box.

    Because I was ignorant enough to want a larger hard drive and the CoD skin/ controller I am not even eligible to have a replacement Xbox One sent to me.

    Even after I told them I'd rather have something vs nothing while they tried to repair my console.

    Even when I offered to pay for it.

    Maybe I'll go out and pick up a ps4 in the meantime and stay away from xbox.

    Just had a chuckle....

    Well it goes back to the point of topics like that there's no right/wrong way. It's all based on preference. Each one has it's ups/downs is really what it boils down to. Some things Xbox must have Sony doesn't and vice versa.

    Sounds like a good idea, worse case scenario if something goes wrong thats what the warrentys for.
