What strategies or tactics do you find most effective?

This is a war game. All war games use strategy and tactics. The worst player in the game is still using strategy and tactics. If you want to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off, or hide in a closet and shoot anyone that looks in, that's still
strategy and tactics. Strategy is what you plan to do, tactics are what you do to deal with what the enemy does to screw up your strategy. Understand?

Strategy and tactics are what you are using. The other players are just running around, waving their guns, and yelling, "Wheeeee!"

I second camaro, it's a legit strategy and I use this tactic most of the time on this map. It's possible to watch all flanking routes if you have a good team that uses communication and teamwork.

@Rehab: Give up, kid. You obviously don't like anybody, considering how many games you leave. Your argument doesn't hold water, and you're getting all emotional. This was a post discussing dedicating a team member as anti-air support. People like you
turned it into camper vs runner. Like I said, I do both, depending on the map and my mood, and I don't limit myself to one type of play, or care if certain individuals do want to limit themselves. I only get into these discussions because I like teasing
narrow minded bigots. It's a WAR game, which doesn't limit an individual's playing (strategic/tactical) style, so why should any individual, or group of individuals, feel they can dictate what others can do? If it doesn't involve modding/hacking/cheating,
it's a strategy or tactic, which means you have to come up with a strategy or tactic to beat it. "The enemy is called the enemy because he doesn't do what you want". If you don't like that your own team member has a different strategy or tactic than you,
stop playing with randoms, form a clan, develop strategies and tactics that you all agree on using, make yourself happy. Otherwise, play, and let play. Life's a joke, Rehab. The only way to win is to try to die laughing. ;oD

You should check out Mech Warrior Tactics. It's a fantastic turn based strategy game.
