    On a serious note, I doubt I go with anything over a TB. The most games I play at one time is between 3 to 5 and that's good for about the space left on my OEM Hdd.

    Then if I'm patient enough to finish a game, I usually just uninstall it to make space.

    If need be I'll go big but I'm not seeing it now.

    What sizes external HDD you getting?

    I've got a couple of prospective HD's lined up.

    One is 5400 rpm the other is 7200 rpm. Does the larger, amount mean a better product? If so why?

    Also is there any advantage to having a single 4TB HD vs 2 seperate 2TB HD's?

    Are there any real advantages? Uh I guess if you have two separate drives you could back up your data, but other than that I don't see any other advantages. Also the faster the rpm speed on the hard drive the better it will perform.

    Higher rotational speed typically translates into a faster seek time (drive can move to the data faster).

    It also typically means higher power draw and more heat.

    I'm going to try and go with a 2-3TB external but knowing me I'll just get 4TB. Gotta plan for growth because of games with gold.

    I'm either going to grab 4TB or 3TB. The price difference is not too big between those 2 but man, £90+ for more space. Its a lot :/ I would rather pay for extended Cloud storage if they allowed that.
