What should I do if games don't launch after trying everything

Hello SadMonkee, by your description there may be a bug in your account that it cannot unlink the Game Pass license for the game you bought.

As you have already factory reset your console, you may need to perform a type of reset on your account and only Xbox support can do this type of procedure for you.

See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

If you've truly tried everything...then I honestly would try everything again just in case. I know that sounds like the complete opposite of what you should do but trust me, its sometimes the only thing you can do. I would report everything wrong as bugs
directly to Bethesda while still trying to get in contact with their support team.

After you've run down the list again, try leaving it uninstalled or untouched for a few days to a week and then come back to it to see if just leaving it be has helped any. I did that with the game a few times after it launched because of a whole culmination
of issues from actual bugs to the game not even loading properly. Its bad, but, sometimes its all you can try and do. I'm really sorry.

Hi, thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one with an issue launching it.

However I've done everything you said but didn't solve the issue of hogwarts legacy xbox one disappearing from my Owned games after uninstalling it. and yes it does say that the order was completed (I had the digital deluxe version) So now I don't know what to do as I should most definitely have it in my Owned games library.

Don't restart it try to do full shutdown (not the factory one) with the game installed and launch the game and the problem should solve.
