    I just want to know what resolution does the Xbox app on windows 10 record game clips in? like 1080p 60 fps? I am playing in 1080p 60 fps on my laptop and I want to record my game that I am playing with the xbox game capture. I have tried 3rd party software
    but to play and record and stuff at the same time on my laptop doesn't do too well. please help.

    Allow custom gameclips

    You can upload custom gameclips via the windows 10 app. Put the gameclip you want to share to xbox live in the captures folder on your PC and it will allow you to select it and share it via the app

    DVR isn't picking up audio input from my microphone

    I'm using the windows 10 xbox DVR to record gameplay. While it records other output voices it does not record input voices on the dvr such as my own. Is this a bug or are you just not allowed to record your own voice. And yes my computer's able to
    run the app and games perfectly fine.

    From the Game DVR screen within the Xbox app, you can access and edit all game clips recorded on Windows 10, as well as clips shared from your Xbox One. Editing in the Xbox app is restricted to Trim at this time. For more info:

    Hey there!

    Let's see if we can figure this out for you. First, double check that your captures are actually uploading to Xbox Live (you can do this in the Upload Studios app) and not simply saving to your local storage. If that is happening, next thing to check is
    going to be your privacy settings. Open up Settings, and go to Privacy and Online Safety. Under "Game Content" see what is selected for "Others can see your game clips and screenshots" as well as "You can share game clips and screenshots." Make sure both of
    those are set to "Allow" and at least friends then try again.
