What preview do I need to join for keyboard mapping?

Greetings and welcome to the Xbox Forums,

You can use your keyboard already in order to play Minecraft on the Xbox One but it is also said that Microsoft will be releasing support for Keyboard and Mouse for many more games in the near future. You can test this feature early by joining the Xbox One

UGH, I hate gaming with a keyboard! A well designed game shouldn't need a keyboard. I played oblivion on my pc with a keyboard, and then a controller, and I got to say, controller was so much easier. The problem with keyboard play is there is no standardization.
Just to move your character is different from game to game. It becomes a real pain trying to remember what the mapping is from game to game.

But, having said that, I could find it more useful to use a full size keyboard and mouse to browse the internet, or search, or edit documents. There is a place for a keyboard on the xbox. I hate trying to enter in addresses in the IE ap with my 360 controller,
or doing any other type of text entry. It's too time consuming.

im in no need for server browsers on console..

On pc its usefull, but on console i always join friends, or they join me.. and i dont care on what map i play.. so....

I have never felt the need to look at my controller while playing, of felt need for a screen on it. That's what the TV is for. I wouldn't mind having a small keyboard on the controller like the chatpad, would be cheap and usefull particulary to map buttons
for games, and ease of typing messages would be nice bonus feature. Not even full qwerty keyboard would be needed, just a narror like of mobile phone one
