What premium brands are most trusted to replace AC cables and HDMI cables for the Xbox...

Sometimes premium brands like Monster Cable can be a little expensive, the ideal would be to have something with a good cost benefit and that meets all needs, at Amazon you can find good cables with a good cost benefit.

Late last year, I attached a capture card between my Xbox and TV and had to add an extra HDMI cable...used a cheap and cheerful one I bought from Amazon (bought for £8 back in 2018) and have never had any troubles with it.

As long as the HDMI cable is a high speed one, then most should be fine. As to the AC cable, as long as it has the same amp fuse, then any should be fine (also make sure it is the same wattage etc)

Just looked at the Xbox Accessories page and it links to a HMI cable on Amazon that is priced at £80 which is just a ridiculous price for a cable:

Can't believe MS are pushing people to waste that much money when a cable costing 10% of that works just as well but, there we go....

The answer is to replace the hdmi cable that came with the vip2262 and get an xbox branded hdmi cbl. That worked for me.

The signal provided by a cheap, no name brand HDMI cable is the same as what's provided by a few hundred dollar cable; there's no reason not to by a cheap cable.

It's either the cable or the console. I've had dead on arrival HDMI cables before. Others have had consoles with issues out of the box. Swap out the cable for a known good HDMI cable and try a different display device. If that doesn't fix it, exchange the
console at your retailer for a replacement.
