What no backup servers???

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to log in to your account on the Xbox App.

We are currently experiencing an
Xbox Live Service Alert that could potentially be the reason as to why you are currently unable to sign into your account.

It currently states it only affected the Xbox One platform, but this could be seeping into other services or platform, which would explain the difficulties with being able to access other games.

We don't not currently have an ETA for alleviating the service and we ask for your continued patience as our engineers help resolve this matter.

I would also like to remind you about the
Microsoft Service Agreement:

"We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result."

Some games do allow you to play while in offline mode.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings.
3. Choose Network.
4. Select Network settings > Go offline.

You're stuck in the backup servers/some crap for the game. Loadouts do not work.

I have no idea how to get out of them, but perhaps Waypoint or a Google search will give you results relating to the backup servers.

You would think that, given the type if service, they would have backup server on standby at all time. Then if the server goes down, it might be down for a couple of mins, while the switch to the backup. That way they have all the time in the world for
repairs and thete won't be that much time with servers down.

Your information is actually saved on your console. The stats and ranking are not stored on M$'s servers. However, a backup is stored on the Epic servers.

If you haven't started over, if you delete your player data out of the memory it should download the backup.

If you have started playing, as far as I know, you won't be able to get the information back.
