What modded controller mods are you allowed to use on xbox live?.

This isn't smart mate, You said "A Controller equipped with the latest MODS to use on Call of Duty, Titanfall, Destiny, and other popular shooter games?" Modding Is not allowed on xbox live and can cause your account to be terminated.

The use of mods is a ToU and CoC violation of Xbox Live. Also, the discussion of mods is not allowed on these forums.

Xbox doesn't care if you use a modded controller, there is nothing about it in the terms of conditions and things like that, BUT some games mw3,bo2, etc do have stated in their terms of conditions that you aren't allowed to use a modded controller, but you
can still buy a modded controller an just don't use the functions online, only offline and in private matches. Hope I helped you enough

Stepto has never directly stated that unlicensed controllers will not result in a ban of some sort.

Go listen to show #331, the one from PAX 2009. 52:00 to 57:10. He never says it's not banned, he tells the question asker to see him after the show. He also never says modded controllers won't result in a ban in the clip you posted.

[/quote]Let me add to this by bursting a MASSIVE misconception of that video. It's title is "Modded Controller are Legal on Xbox Live." Not only is it a patently false statement. It is a completely misleading statement.

The base their theory on the legality of "modded" controls on Stepto's statement about "Turbo" in that podcast excerpt. The flaw in their theory is Stepto never ONCE said that "modded" controller are allowed. This is because they are NOT ALLOWED.

"Turbo" controllers "Modded" controllers. This is where the entire misconception is.

A "Turbo" controller is something that has been designed, and manufactured brand new as a controller that has "Turbo" functionality. Provided the controller is a licensed product, it is permitted on Xbox Live.

"Modded" controller, however are a completely different animal. They are existing controller that have opened up in order to alter (modify) the functionality of the controller to something other than the original specifications. This is, never was, never
will be allowed, and is a violation of sec 14 of the ToU.

Return it and get a non-modded console. Mods are not allowed on Live which is why you can't use it online.
