What Microsoft can add to Minecraft on the Xbox

There are many things that Microsoft can add to Minecraft for the Xbox. Here is a list of updates that I have heard other players say they want in Minecraft Xbox Edition.

1. Servers

I was thinking that Microsoft can make something that will allow you to play on a world that is owned by your friend, while your friend's Xbox is not on. I know there could be those players who get mad at the owner or at someone else on that world and they
wreck or grief the world, but this is the same problem most players face on PC playing on servers. I have a way that you can make griefing stop or less effective. You can have an auto save that saves the game and if the owner is able to get on and see the
broken buildings before the auto save happens then they can reset to the last auto save. If the owner is not able to get on before auto save, then there can be a tool that you can go into the menu where you can see host options and turn the edit tool on. When
you do you will get a tool in your hand that you can click Right Trigger on one block the Right trigger again on another block and then you can reset that selected area to before the auto save or before the grieing.

2. Player Created Texture Packs

Players can make texture packs for the Xbox and submit it to Microsoft for reviewing. Then Microsoft can choose to add it to the game or not to. If Microsoft chooses to add the texture pack to Minecraft, there can be a list of Player created Texture Packs
that you can choose to download.

3. More Building Blocks for Creative Players

Some that can be added is Sideways slabs, Sideways stairs, Quarter blocks.

Cannot activate Minecraft explorers pack for children

I have bought Xbox One Minecraft with Minecraft explorers pack. I entered the code to Microsoft store and see the pack in my account in Minecraft, but the children do not see it. Why they can play Minecraft,
but cannot use this add-on? The add-on is useless for me, I have bought Xbox for children, I do not play Minecraft.

 

Child account cannot access game add-ons installed by parent on Xbox One X console

Hi, I am having issues with my daughter’s family child Microsoft account.

I just purchased 2 add-on packs for the game Minecraft that is already installed on our Xbox One X console. The add-on packs were digitally downloaded to the console and I installed them logged in as my parent Microsoft account. When I run Minecraft, I can
access and use those add-on packs logged in as my parent account. So that works.

The problem is that when my daughter logs in to the same Xbox One X console with her family child Microsoft account and runs Minecraft, it will not let her access and use those purchased add-on packs. Every time she tries to, it gives an error message that
she is using a trial version of the add-on packs and will have to buy in the Microsoft store if she wants to save her game. There should not be a content restriction issue; this is E-rated (Everyone) Minecraft.

This is frustrating. I cannot find the setting on my daughter’s child Microsoft account to enable the use of these add-on packs for Minecraft. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks!
