What level are you?

Duck, I have been Bastet since I first got on a computer. My first id way back in 1992 on AOL was ladybastet. I ended up adding a the when I ran into myself but didn't know my password. The sig comes from a story in Kipling's Just So Stories, which I love.

Does your page go all tiny and squeezed to the side on your iPod. That's what it's doing on my iPad. It's fine on the mac though.

 

Oh, wow, I was way off then lol. When I type it it capitalizes it, so I figure is look it up and see what it means, which is an Egyptian cat goddess. And yes, it makes it take up half the screen to the left. It's like they said *** you to mobile people,
unless they actually got their mobile version to not look like complete crap.

 

No, you weren't off. Bastet is my goddess and I am a cat person so Kipling's story resonates.

I have always had a deep interest in ancient Egypt and Bastet was more my style than Isis. Bastet was both a goddess of life and health and also a fierce protector.

 

I'm at level 41. My only skill at 100 is lock picking. I have been playing on Legendary.

 

I don't think I have the nerve for legendary. I have read too many reports of its difficulty.

 

Legendary is a bit beyond me at the moment. If I hadn't accidently deleted my sword and board warrior I may of tried it out but I'm just a squishy mage now.

 

I tried legendary when I started a new game and found it near impossible. I think doing a pure mage on legendary is impossible due to the damage limit you have with it. A melee character is the only real way to tackle legendary.

 

Maybe on super sneak with an overpowered bow but never if they see you. Just thinking of Foresworn on Legendary makes me break out in a sweat. That's fuel for nightmares.

 

Well, that was interesting. I wanted to collect the stats on my mage after she did for the dragon which is where I saved her. When I called up the skill menu I saw her health and stamina was down so I checked and I had contracted two diseases and vampirism
before I got to arcwind point. So I was gimped and didn't know it. Of course my heath is really high since I put all my levels getting up to 80 into health so it didn't really matter.

 

building up your block skill will be able to help you the most. being able to absorb attacks can be a life saver, especially in nord crypts with deathlords. then maxing out smithing and one-handed will get you the rest of the way. i also see you changed
your pic and clothing.

 

Yeah, I do that every now and then. I love change. I don't change my face and only occsionally change my hair but I change my clothes a lot.

I don't block ever. Both hands are fully occupied. I puled out the Imperial who was built only to run the main quest And am trying to overhaul her build into a super sneaky mage who will just conjure help and disappear. She had never been out during any
of the DLC and she's a mess. She carries too much and has weird gear.

 

I'm levelling my Alteration by transmuting iron ore into silver and silver into gold. Just find a mine with heaps of iron ore and your set.

 

Halted Creek is my iron source. I transmuted all that iron in one of my early games. Detect life is faster when I need to level I have found. I think I finally have the Imperial set to go out and try the world as a cloth wearing mage. I used exploited enchant
potions to give myself free alteration, conjuration, illusion and destruction and between the unused perks she had when I started doing this and the leveling needed to get the useful spells in conjuration and illusion, I am almost set. There are still 6 or
so perks left that I want but I have ebonyflesh, a dremora lord, frenzy, pacify and rout so I'm set to see if I can magic stuff without using destructive magic or a bow (but I have them in case of need).

Last night I took her out for a walk and threw a Dremora lord at a hag and flame atronach and pacify at a half a dozen spiders while walking across the Morthal marshes. I didn't find it as satisfying though. I don't have all three mage armor perks yet so
ebonyflesh is decent but not great and it doesn't last as long as a fight can so will take rethinking battles.

If anyone watches anime and doesn't mind reading subs (I do but will to check out a series) there is a series on Cruchyroll called Log Horizon which is a good example of the people transported to a game world. I kind of like the explanations of game mechanics
early on. This isn't like Sword Art Online or .hack//SIGN. People don't die. If they do it's just like the game; they revive in the cathedral of the server city they were in when they became trapped. There is no indication that they aren't totally trapped
in this new world which leads to boredom and a breakdown of civilized behavior.
