What kind of equipment is considered a TOS offense for xbox live use

quick question; I have notice surge in xbox users using mouse and keyboard adapter such as XIM and hori pads mouse adapter to play online competitive games. I just was wondering what is Xbox's terms of service stand regarding this type of adapters to play
games online, can I purchase one, or will I get banned if I do so. Please inform as to if this type of equipment is considered equipment which gives players an unfair advantage. I hate getting beat out by a mouse and keyboard on a console seem unfair as the
mouse would definitely be more precise then a controller, these adapter give players what seems to be an unfair advantage because of the insane look sensitivity they are selecting because the adapter slow the mouse speed down allowing them to play on the
highest look sensitivity yet remain controllable because of the adapter. Also if this is a punishable offense what is xbox actually doing to prevent the use of this adapter, because I'm feeling as there are more mouse adapters on xbox live than there should,
feels like 2 to 5 people out of a 12 person live game lobby use this type of adapter, yet doesn't seems like no one is being banned, I would hate to believe live enforcement team is not immediately stopping any use of this type of adapter use. Either way I
would like to know what the verdict is regarding use of this type of equipment, and if this equipment is punishable how I'm to believe that something is being done.

How does one mod their Gamerscore and avatar?

Modding of gamerscore and/or avatar is a direct offense of the Xbox ToS and is subject to a gamerscore reset and/or temporary ban

That might actually be considered against the Terms of Service for use of trading for MSP, which is a bannable offense..

•Don’t use your account for commercial purposes (including, without limitation, trading services or in-game content for currency or Microsoft Points).

 

If the items are 3rd party and legitimately purchased and used without modifying both the console and/or game then I don't believe there would be an issue with them.

However, if the console needs to be modified in order to use these items then you run the risk of having the console and/or gamertag banned from the service.

I think, in this case though, that you should send a pm to one of the support personnel on the forums (their gamercards have an S) asking this question then post back with their answer.
