What is your Style of Play?

Yesterday after finishing the Nightfall the game stats appear and I noticed that my Kills were 50% lower than the highest person but my assists were higher than theirs. When I first started playing I attributed this to my skill level but now I think it has
more to do with my style of play and how my real life experiences enter in.

I spent roughly 10 years in the United States Army and during that time I was a member of the 7th Special Forces Group (when at Fort Bragg). During my tenure I received lots of tactical training, some was close quarters but most was strategic. We planned our
attacks, we made precision movements and nothing was left to chance.

For me it does not matter which Guardian class I use my style is almost always the same. I am not the first one in the door with a spray and pray mentality. I am the one that provides overwatch, calls out the locations of the snipers and moves to higher ground
to get a better view of the battlefield. Some may call this playing it safe or letting others do all the work while I get the loot. I see it as my real-life experiences influencing how I play.

I used to play the first one all the time on my phone at work haha, so i'm down.

Will give some use out of my Kinect finally haha.

I couldn't play this game. I always have a beer in my hand when I'm playing. Beer or tea. I wouldn't be a ninja, but I'd be a Drunken Master.

I have all 3 but I stick to my hunter. Scout, sniper, rocket setup. I mainly raid and do the same job every time so I set up my class to what would benefit my role in the raid the most, lots of orbs, rockets for ogres, things like that

 

I main a Hunter gunslinger [yes even after tk.] i run handcannon, sniper and sword, i mainly stay in strike playlists but occasionally raid and crucible. My playstyle for strikes is to pick off big threats from afar with the sniper, then rush in with the
HC and blow everythings head off at point blank, and if any other big threats spawn in thats what the sword is for. I usuually end up as that 'kill stealer' guy who has 3x the kills of the other 2 ppl combined. I wouldnt say its neccisarilly the strategy doing
it as it is simply learning the spawns.. once you memorize all the spawns theres really no suprises.

My role on harder playlists appears to be more of a medic as im realy good at not dying [somthing you learn to do well as a hunter.] theres been times on like the exotic sword quest where im just running in circles dropping smoke and reviving my mates
again and again.

And actually scheduling times to play for the week, we're all super busy and often times that's going to be the only way that we can raid together.

 

my style in crucible is a bullet sponge for my team! I am not very good but I like it!

try the last word in crucible. i average a 2.50 kdr with it. it kicks everythings but as long as you ADS with it.

more dam+higher rof=kill faster, kill faster means take less damage which means more multikills.

its an exotic primary handcannon, you can get it from any exotic primary engram. i hated crucible till i got the last word and now i love it. good luck getting it
