What is your pick for 2015 Game Of The Year?

I've not played enough of COD 3 to see if it warrants my vote however I do like the maps I've played but I'll go for Valiant Hearts a game I wouldn't have looked at but being free gave it a go and really glad I did!! Got very immersed in the story

MGS5 TPP, Easily for every aspect of the game. Life is strange was brilliant and a runner up prize should go there. Just Cause 3 definitely gets a 3rd because the ending was too easy.

Exclusives - Xb1 get's Rise of the Tomb Raider (Partial exclusive), not only because there really is no other choice (Unless a racer or shooter counts) But it actually is a really good game. Ps4 has Bloodborne which is brilliant and a bunch of high quality
Japanese releases that I wont mention. Ps3 gets Yakuza 5 finally in english which I enjoyed more than any of the above.

I'm changing my choice. I originally said Fallout 4 but now it's a draw between Fallout 4 and The Witcher. I said in the beginning that the Witcher bored me a bit. I have just played through Wild Hunt again and played Hearts of stone, the game is a masterpiece
and for whatever reason, I've enjoyed it much more this time around and it more than deserves the awards it won.

I'm now looking forward to dlc for both game's.

 

Monster High: New Ghoul In School

 

I always judge my personal GOTY as the one I purchase a second copy for (on my other system). This year's winner is Elder Scrolls Online.

 

Back Lot Basher, Elder Scrolls Online is a 2014 game, PS4 & Xbox One versions are just ports.

 

Well, the way I see it is, if "Destiny: Taken King" gets lumped in with 2015 GOTY discussions, then so does ESO. Same thing happened with GTA 5...it was also judged on the PS4/Xbox port.

I get what you're saying, and in principle you are correct. But the last few years have ushered in a new set of timelines for games, and major overhauls are getting consideration as GOTY achievements in their own right.
