What is your "Greatest Game series" that you've played so far?

Dead Space series hands down!

 

I would have to say the original Prince of Persia series on the original xbox-extremely addictive. After that, and running a close second would be Gears-still can't get enough of that (with the exception of that pseudo-Gears Cod/halo wanna be called Judgement)
followed somewhat distantly by the first the 3 Halo's.

 

Hard for me to pick a top favorite, all I can do is list the franchises that I played & completed all the main games.

Resident Evil

Halo

Gears of War

Mass Effect

Dead Rising

Dead Space

GTA

Red Dead

Half Life

Splinter cell

 

Pretty much anything Bioware has put out. If I had to pick a top one, it would have to be Mass Effect. I only played the first KOTOR, and that was on PC like 9 years ago. I loved the first Dragon Age game, and while the 2nd one was still good, it doesn't
hold a candle to how good the 2nd Mass Effect game was.

I've loved both Oblivion & Skyrim, but wasn't really gaming around the time Morrowind came out, so I can't judge it.

 

Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell are my all-time favorite series.

 

Saints Row, from your humble start as a street thug to your epic rise to president of the USA and ultimately the savior of the universe. No other series had me guessing as much as what would happen next as SR did, nor have I laughed as much and had a good
time while playing it. A truly great series and an *** load of fun.

Honorable mention : KOTOR - HK 47. 'Nuff said.

 

Hard to say but considering my favorite game of all time is Resident Evil 4 and I have liked the RE movies I would say RE.

 

HALO for sure. Halo 4 then Halo Reach are among my favourites. Have CE anniversary Halo Wars, even Halo 3 (which I've hardly play, I prefer the controls on Reach and 4).

 

Halo Wars was awesome, I would love to see Halo Wars 2 on the XB1!

In my opinion, KOTOR is the the greatest Star Wars game series ever made

Did you know that the Mass Effect Trilogy was a direct result of Bioware working on KOTOR 1?

What happend was that KOTOR 2 was supposed to be made by Bioware, but they started planning the Mass Effect saga; thus Obsidian took over and created KOTOR 2

Hey nxtdoc1851 did you see the Halo wars poster in that phantom dust trailer. Maybe it's a hint .

 

In no order: Uncharted, Last of Us, Halo, Gears, Red dead, bioshock, Forza, Batman Arkham.

 

I can't pick one series, so on no particular order, Halo, Mass effect, Ninja Gaiden, Kotor, Dead Space, Forza, PGR, Burnout and Gears of War.

Edit = Ninja Gaiden is probably the most played, even now.

 

Forgot these, not Xbox but awesome, Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero and Wipeout.

 

Halo probably. I owned Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, Halo Anniversary, Halo 4, Halo Spartan Assault even DOA4. I don't think I'll get MCC but Halo 5 is on the cards.

Some other great series have been many of the Mario games, Gran Turismo, Forza, cod although I feel it gets worse each year.
