    What is Xbox's official stance on account recovery?


    In the game Destiny, it's becoming more and more common for streamers or websites to offer to recover your account and win in a competitive weekend multiplayer mode if you pay them. It is my impression that this is against TOS based on this section:

    Microsoft Services Agreement

    1.9 Are there things I can’t do on the Services? You must not use the Services to harm others or the Services. For example, you must not:

    • Assign, resell, or redistribute any part of the Services or access to the Services, including the sale or purchase of an account;

    However, when I say it is against the rules to people who are doing the account recovery, they say that I am misinterpreting the rule. Can any official person from Xbox clarify if account recovery is actually breaking that rule?

    What's the official date for call of duty ghosts

    Official date is November 5th on Xbox 360 and PS3.

    Not sure what the official stance is now on shops selling it early, some have got in trouble in the past but if you buy it you'll have no problems as long as it's a legit copy.

    There's already quite a few playing now.

    Not sure what the official stance is now on shops selling it early, some have got in trouble in the past but if you buy it you'll have no problems as long as it's a legit copy.

    There's already quite a few playing now.

    I'm in the same boat. Initially I thought it was the china firewall, but now I'm not so sure. Seeing a lot of people can't seem to connect might be related to the update.

    PS regardless of the company not officially supported in china, but you have a lot of paying customers...we understand the official stance, but give us the info do something about it. Because when my assignment here in china is done, and I'm back in the
    US, I don't want to think MS as a company that doesn't have the human factor...caring for its customers beyond its official stance.
