What is Xbox Game Pass core Doing

What version of Game Pass do you have? Game Pass Core or Ultimate (which includes Core) are required to play online. Standard Game Pass for console does not include online.

Gold was discontinued in September. So you may want to check your subscriptions to see if you do have a subscription and what you have. Game Pass Core is now what Gold was, so you need at least Game Pass Core to play online or Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Core.
