WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE LEFT JOYSTICKS ON THE XBOX ONE CONTROLLERS

So basically almost every xbox controller i get the left joystick breaks. If i press the joystick in and roll it i hear a crack. Once that crack happens its basically done. it doesnt register certain movements. Now i cannot afford a new controller every
damn few months. Is there any fix for this cause this is absolutely ridiculous. Im the only person who uses my controller and i take care of them but for some reason if i press the stick in and move the joystick around something inside breaks basically rendering
it useless.

Faulty controller-joystick sticks

I have had my 2 Xbox One controllers for about a year. Both have become unusable. The left side joystick sticks and causes character wandering and making it impossible to make onscreen selections. Are these controllers only supposed to last one year?
Is there a recall for these?

Just FYI, I still have the original Playstation, which has joysticks on the controllers, and have never had this issue.

 

Xbox one controller joystick problems

I have this problem with both of my xbox one wireless controllers, particularly the left joystick and one also has a problem with the right joystick. The thing is, I hardly ever play games on my xbox one. I thought I was just crappy at all the games until
I started to fill out forms using the controller and would do left joystick and watch the highlighted letter on the alphabet screen light up once to the left and then quickly go back or down.

The joysticks are a mess and M$ has no way to report the problem or get it fixed, as far as I've been able to do. You go to the repair page, enter "controller joystick malfunction" and it gives me 2 options: 1. test console network connectivity or 2. send
in the kinect module for replacement.

WTF? FU M$.

 

I have to say I have owned several and never had this problem. But I would also try avoiding to click and roll the joystick at the same time if possible, I can't think of many games where this is possible except FPS games with a sprint or melee function

yeah its killin me i never had an issue with my Elite controller other than the LB breaking off but it was an easy fix might just grab a new elite controller 60 bucks every couple of months is no joke. i have no idea how it happens either on COD or Rocket
league. any idea if theres just a way i can fix it?

 

Maybe to much force when playing makes it lean or glitch.

I've had the same controller since launch.

 

The OG controllers i believe were alot more sturdy. I traded all of mine in for the newer ones with the headphone jack and most of the time that stick craps out on me
