What is wrong with the 360 now days?

Hi

So it seems the xbox 360 is plagued with errors now. At this precise moment my 360 keeps disconnecting from live and sometimes its says my internet is blocked. Games are getting stuck whilst trying to update or just simply won't install.

I have also had so many errors with it the past few months. I have had the cant sign in error due to credentials. The fix for that is to delete and redownload my profile but then that gives you cannot download profile error. Get that all sorted then i get internet is blocked error again.

I have a few hundred 360 games on disc and from time to time i like to play my old games but i cant unless i play my profile offline which is what i don't want to do as it won't sync when im playing on the xbox one.

If only all 360 games were backwards compatible id throw my 360 into the landfill.

Anyway so could there be some kind of conflict with my profile as i like to alternate from the 360 to the one? Is the 360 on its last legs? Is there a simple fix to stop all these problems? Is it my console is it the internet? i dont know.

I have done all the normal stuff clear the cache unplug router bla bla bla its not an Internet problem as everything else doesnt have any problems and my router is capable of running the 2ghz for the 360 or whatever the frequency is.

Any tips you think would help fix this im all ears

In case you need it, here’s how to enable app passwords:

Go here https://account.microsoft.com/security with the account that you want to use on Xbox 360

Then press advance security options and scroll down to the bottom until you can see something like "app passwords"

If not, please please enable 2 step verification in your account

After that sign out from your account in the actual browser and go here again https://account.microsoft.com/security > advanced security options and now "app password" option needs to appear.

If not the best option will be wait a couple hours just to give time Microsoft servers to refresh all these changes made on your account

Finally press on "create new app password" then, write that password instead of the actual one in your console

JeDi, did you try performing a reinstallation of Xbox 360 system via USB?

And about the thing downloading the profile, you need to enable first app passwords on your Microsoft account, did you double check if the option appears in advance security settings?
