What is wrong with my Xbox?

Hello.

I'm curious if anyone can answer this. I would've loved to file this as more of a complaint against Xbox or Xbox Live, but I can't seem to figure out where to do so and chatting with Support would just be talking in circles for hours.

Here goes:

I played quite a bit today on my Xbox One S (2TB). Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4 with some friends, then a bit of Friday the 13th with another friend later on. Finally, I switch over to Amazon Video for a couple of hours. Later on, a friend wants to play more
Friday the 13th, so I attempt to load it up. This is where the issues start to go like dominoes.

"For some reason, Friday the 13th took too long to launch." Okay, I've had this happen quite a bit in the past week for no particular reason. I clear persistent storage, 3 times, as recommended, and I hard reset the console. Power back on, I attempt to launch
the game, again - the same error pops up. The game was on my internal 2TB HDD, so I move it to my external 5TB drive. This fixes nothing. I repeat the process again, this time unplugging the power supply completely as well as resetting my router. This fixes
nothing.

When I turn the console back on, it won't connect me to Xbox live. I launch "Settings" again, but this time I'm met with "For some reason, Settings took too long to launch." Why is a native feature of Xbox not launching after being hard reset and persistent
storage being cleared?

So, I attempt to message my friends to let them know that I won't be back on vie the Xbox App from my phone. It tells me there's an issue with my account. In a panic, I go to Xbox.com to find that there is no issue with my account.

What is going on? I'd really like my console to do the simple things that it's meant to do when I'd like it to do such. It's growing to be quite a pain when I can't play with friends because my Xbox decides at any given point in the day that it just doesn't
want to function properly.

There are no console, game, or app updates available, so I don't believe this is the answer.

Any explanations or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

When you do the connection test do you get full bars?

When you search for your wireless connection, does your console pick up other wireless networks too? If it does, have you tried changing your wireless channel?
