What is wrong with my Xbox?

Today i went to play my xbox and when i turn it on all 4 quadrants on the controller stay lit up green,but the ones on the console don't light up at all,and the system won't start up.I played it 2 days ago with no problem.The power cord is lit up green when
i turn it on and i checked to make sure all the cables were still firmly in place.The center symbol on the power button is also lighting up green.I am at a loss as to what is wrong.

When you do the connection test do you get full bars?

When you search for your wireless connection, does your console pick up other wireless networks too? If it does, have you tried changing your wireless channel?

 

Please Check you video cables. I know that the xbox 360 wont connect controllers till the video is up and running. Also please have the channel set up correctly cause this also might be a issue

one other thing to try is to turn the console off and then disconnect the power supply from the wall for at least 60seconds. While doing this you may want to check again if all cables are connected firmly.

Thanks for the replies.I still have a blank tv screen.From what you guys have said,and the fact that when i hit the reset button on the console all the quadrants flash green for about 20 seconds,that the video cable went bad.Guess i'll get a new one and
see if that works.My console is 6 years old and i'm actually impressed that this is the first major issue i've had.

Since what you are describing is the functionality of the controller synchronization button.

Also try what happens when you try the console on a different TV and check the steps on this link:

support.xbox.com/.../image-on-your-tv-is-unclear. For example, try the reset display settings.

 

The little black button next to the right hand usb port.The tv is good i have my One hooked up and it displays fine,i'm on it right now and both are hooked up to the same router.I did switch them between the two router ports to make sure one didn't go bad,i
also went and bought a new hdmi cable but that didn't solve the issue.I'm just assuming that nothing major went wrong because there is no red ring of death nor do any of the quadrants light up red on the console,they don't light up at all unless i press the
button i spoke of then they flash green and go out again.The best way i can explain it is the console is turning on but not "booting up".If that makes any sense
