What is wrong the Xbox Live Enforcement team?

I was playing a solo PUBG match when I was killed by two players teaming up. I wrote them a quick message saying "lol took two of you vs me with a revolver" Then I proceeded to spectate those two cheaters do the same thing to the next person they came across.
So I recorded the video of them blatantly cheating and messaged that person again "recorded and reported you idiots".. Which I did do.

Well the next morning I receive a notice of Xbox live enforcement suspending my account for 7 days.

So xbox live enforcement teams logic is even though he is a blatant cheater that calling him an idiot is worse. Because that cheater is still playing online and in a party chat with his cheater friend... If I had said not smart instead of idiots maybe there
would be no suspension.., but that means the same thing.

It's funny to me that the cheater had the audacity to blatantly cheat, but can't handle being called an idiot.

The part that really pisses me off is the so called Enforcement Team is willing to ruin my reputation and my Xbox live experience over calling a cheater an idiot...

Also they came down with the enforcement in under 8 hours, but I have now been waiting 40+ hours to hear back after I filed for it to be reviewed...

I know now that I should have not wrote idiots, but my question is am I being treated fairly here? What can I do to fix this?

I have talked to 6 different support people an none of are willing or capable of helping.

    :)

Did you check your email and make sure you're not the subject of XBOX Live enforcement?

One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

Please note that enforcement actions are not always for things you just did, they can be from any time in the past.

The only way to contact anyone that can alter suspensions (or to appeal it or ask about it) is to contact enforcement through a case review:

    https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/howto#sub-topic0-6
Xbox support and phone support can not alter suspensions. Only enforcement can - and ONLY through a case review. To do a case review your suspension must be active, have been applied within the last
year and be longer than 24 hours. You may have to do a quiz on the code of conduct before you can do a case review, and if you fail you will have to wait 24 hours to try again.

I understand the frustration, but the Xbox Live Code of Conduct states that users should not respond to inappropriate conduct with more inappropriate conduct. The better option would have been to simply report them, then block them and move on. There is
no "they did it" or "they started it" defense, so to speak. Put another way, we should behave even when others are misbehaving.

As to support, the Xbox Live Support channels cannot assist with any enforcement actions. If you have completed your request for review, all you can do is wait for that review to be completed, which can take a couple of days.

Really dude? I wrote that I know now I should not have messaged him, but you think ruining my xbox reputation and my xbox experience is justified here?

You're asking an opinion, and I'm afraid that my opinion will probably be one you won't agree with. So I'll leave it at that.

Yes, and the people you saw that cheated will be dealt with when enforcement gets to the reports regarding them.

Sometimes some things are easier and faster to deal with than cheater reports - as that requires more looking into with evidence.

Does not change the fact that the enforcement team has ruined my reputation and experience over calling a blatant cheater a idiot. Nothing more nothing less. That is actually more idiotic IMO, but the over sensitive crowd these days feels that was right.

    Hello!

I would recommend reviewing what you've wrote out here. You found two players teaming up, which is unsporting, but not necessarily cheating (though the game Developer would have discretion to make that call). So you sent them multiple messages including how
you're taking video of them because they killed you. You've then been checking up on their accounts after you've reported them.

Your account was banned the next day for 7 days, which may or may not be related to this specific event since that's a very quick turn around time. Also 7 day suspensions are typically only given out for very severe or repeated offenses. In
no way are they ruining your reputation. It's more of a cool off period to think about your recent actions.

You may be eligible to submit a case review by going to enforcement.xbox.com & How Do I? Then submit case review.

Lol nice try at twisting what I wrote. I recommend you read it again.

Cheating or unsporting... Apples to Apples. Regardless they were in the wrong.

Also if you read more you would know that I took the video because they were cheating/unsporting and that the video showed them killing the next person not myself. It was at that point I messaged them "recorded and reported you idiots".

Also you are correct I had a suspension on my account from a message my nephew wrote years ago. I was not even aware of the suspension until long after it was over, but yes that probably did factor into the length of the suspension.

Still does not change the fact that I am being suspended for calling out a blatant cheater(unsporter lol). They are punishing me for trying to do the right thing against some other person that ruins paying customers online experiences. How? oh by ruining
mine too.. makes no sense at all.

The other giant issue is they block you from being able to communicate with your personal friends in a private party chat. Like I said before suspending the message capability is understandable, but that is flat out wrong.

Again that does effect your xbox reputation and my xbox live experience which is what they claim to be protecting.

You can try and justify this all you want, but it will not work. The enforcement team made a big mistake on my case.
