What is the story with the upload speed?

I have been up loading NBA 2K14 for around 3 hrs and it is only at 33%. Is this normal?

depends because when a game install it does the updates aswell so depends on ur internet speed aswell

 

I wouldn't think it would have anything to do with my internet speed since its from a disc to my hard drive. No internet involved. I did however, notice that there was 35gb installed and that was only 33% of the game. That means you could really only upload
3 or 4 games ????

 

I've heard that even when installing off of a disc that the Xbox One still has to connect to the Store so if your internet isn't very fast that could be the reason. This is just what I've heard though and not personal experience as I download all my games
and my internet is fast. I heard the whole connecting to the store may be caused by a bug and if so it can be fixed which would fix your slow install problem. Regardless I'm sorry you're having trouble when all you want to do is play your game. I suggest calling
Xbox directly and asking them what's up.

 

Also I don't think the 35 GB is just 33%. Your download is only 33% done but the whole size is 35 GB. It's more or less telling you how big the game is, not how much is currently downloaded.

 

NBA 2K took me all day as well to download compared to some of the other games ive downloaded.

 

I hope you are right Mutant. I thought That was a bit excessive for one game.
