What is the Refund Limit?

Yesterday I accidentally purchased FIFA Points for FIFA 20 through the Microsoft store on my XBOX Series X. I meant to purchase the points for FIFA 21. It was three separate purchases using XBOX gift cards. Shortly after making
the incorrect purchases, I went online and filled out a refund request for all three purchases. I got an email this morning saying one of the refund requests got approved but the other two got declined. I responded to the email I received asking why one was
approved but the other two were denied given that it was the same purchase made three times. The response I got was "our refund policy limits the number of refunds customers are eligible for within a year
and you've already received the allowed number of refunds this year." In addition I was given a link I could go to so that I could review the policy. I clicked on the link and looked at the policy, but I did not see anywhere what the actual limit is
nor have I been able to find it online anywhere through extensive searching. I have never asked for a refund, so unless the policy is 1 refund a year, there's no way I could have reached the limit.

So my question is, what is the refund limit? I just want my purchase to be for the correct game.

I would contact their support about that as their
Refund Policy doesn't state how many refunds you get a year or that you get a certain amount. You can contact their support

Please click this link https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and ask to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate as the first level of support (gamer support) cannot help or answer this question. Do not let them release but insist on an escalation.

Ok this didn't work at all what's up with refund limits? I only made like four refunds this year

I think it means that you requested a lot of refunds during the year alone and I think they do have limited refunds but I’m not sure. What games did you refund?

Unfortunately I never got my refund. I just gave up because it took me around 10 time on trying to get them to give me a refund because their system screwed up. Only thing in my opinion is just buy the item you are trying to buy at a store like I have been doing, otherwise another thing is switching systems.
