What is the reason that YOU play games?

For me it's a bit of both escapism and feeling productive. I love getting lost in the worlds that game developers create, sometimes no objective
is the objective. While other times I enjoy "structured" fun where achievements guide my hands and push me to do things in games that I may not have initially thought to do on my own. Of course if I can share either one of those with a friend, then
my enjoyment is multiplied!

To relax and enjoy the social element with friends. Even the most tiring of days can be made better after chatting with friends and playing some co-op together.

This definitely depends on which game I play as the reasons for each are vastly different, for example I play R6 siege every now and then because its a game I can play with my friends and have a laugh, i'm not particularly good at it but that's not why
i'm playing it. Other games i'll play for the amazing story experience, Inside for example is one that I loved playing through as a solo story experience. There's other games, such as Forza, that I play because I love the subject matter of the game and want
to get an experience with it that I may not be able to recreate in real life.
