What is the order people get updates

just been reading up on the internet i sold my xbox one what i pre ordered fifa on. For the new xbox one s and i was a preview member on my old xbox. people are saying that i wont be able to see fifa 17 pre order till i get an update on my new xbox.

I didn't get one either and I ordered from the MS store. From what I can tell, only people that ordered from the 360 dashboard got it.

I read a few places that people are getting system updates. Maybe that's what it is?

You can now access what gets update and in what order. Go to My Games and Apps and choose the bottom option on the left side of the screen. From there you'll be able to use the Menu button to push that update to the front of the pack.

I've tweeted a bunch of times, called every department I can, and still can't get through to anyone that can help.

One contact of mine thinks that they clearly over extend on the pre-orders so they're hoping people like us that need to update the address just cancel the orders.

How is it possible that a multi-billion dollar company can't update a ship-to address 6 weeks before the order is set to deliver?
