What is the hardest game(s) that you've beaten?

Meh with the CoD Veteran stuff. The tuffest to date I thought was the Mile High Club. That I actually got to right away but my friend told me I didn't need a headshot. I found out rather abruptly that the headshot was required
on Veteran (he did it norm).

After failing from the above I was frustrated and then spent about 4 hours the next day trying to get back only failing over and over. By the third day irl I was clear of mind went in on the first try and finished it.

The older Trey CoD Games could be a little tuff but that was mostly from the non-stop spam frags from the AI. Very cheap and not really a "challenge" so to speak.

 

CoD 2 on veteran was tough in some spots, but overall it wasn't so bad.

 

Did Mile high club on veteran on my 3rd try.

That "no fighting in the war room" on veteran was a different matter though.I'm starting to develop a twitch just thinking about it.

 

Trial HD on the Xbox 360...It took me many tries to beat th extreme tracks. I have 1 track to do on Trials fusion. I beat the first part of super meat boy, but have to complete getting all the band aides and the dark worlds etc.

 

Spec Ops: The Line on suicide difficulty. Was going for *** as well but then I accidently removed all my save files on 360...

Or World at War on veteran. I'll never forget Hearth of the Reich. The enemies in that level certainly didn't have enough hand grandes, said nobody ever.

But if you mean getting all the achievements, then according to TA the highest ratio I have for a 100% is in Dark Souls so I guess that's the toughest then...

 

Games I've finished?

If so. Gears of War on Insane. General RAMM was a bullet sponge. And by myself as well.

CoD: Black Ops on Veteran. All of those frags and pixel perfect accuracy of the enemies.

Halo 3. Levels were too big for my liking and would always get lost or killed.

Comic Jumper, before getting upgrades. Specifally that black and white anime level. I couldn't tell bullets from scenery. I did 100% it tho. A challenge.

 

Just looked at my true achievements profile & Dark Souls is at No.12 on my list.

Guess I've beat some harder games than I thought although that doesn't take into account games I beat before achievements were a thing.

 

Splatter house in the arcades amount I spent on that game I could have bought the arcade machine

 

Mega Man 3 is probably the hardest game I've beaten. Ninja Gaiden is the hardest game I failed to beat. In the modern era, I'd say a Dark Souls level 1 run as a pyromancer was the toughest. Fighting O&S alone at level 1 nearly made me lose my mind. Although
Mass Effect 2 on the hardest difficulty is a close second.

 

Toss up between COD2 and WAW on veteran difficulty.

 

There's a few though only 1 Xb game,

Ninja Gaiden Black, I still own this on the XB, it was not easy

Same as above remake on ps3, I think it was harder

Demon's Souls, pre glitch I finished this 3 times. It was far less than easy though a brilliant game. Only 2 trophies to plat though I never got around to it

Dark souls, I platted the ps3 version and had to play through 6 times since I *** up one of the weapons I needed to make for the trophy. without glitching, this game isn't exactly easy.

WAW on Veteran, also on PS3, I did this on a cruise ship. OM&G, grenades for anyone? Really, just a couple of thousand should be fine.

Natural Doctrine on PS4, the SRPG from hell, Do not buy this game if you value your life.

 

Yes the grenades were bad on WAW, but it was the relentlessness of the Ai to keep spawning until you could hit the checkpoints. I enjoyed it though. A reason why I don't play them anymore. Black ops 1 veteran was a cake walk.

 

Also, it was in a stateroom on a cruise to PNG, the TV was only a 19 inch and the solomon seas got pretty rough. However I also enjoyed it and couldn't put it down, easily my favorite COD campaign. That repetitive noise of the Japanese chime, that noise
stuck in my head for a week. Funny how the most difficult games are also the most fun imo.

 

Hardest game would easily be Final Fantasty XIII... I got stuck on the Chapter 11 boss and never made it past haha. Man that game made me so mad.

The only FF I never was able to finish :/

Bosses were incredibly OP.

As for the Hardest I've beaten probably The Evil Within, that game was pretty *** tough!

and then once you 'complete' it you need to do every level in the dark world
