What is the gamerscore good for?

Some see it as a status symbol, some don't care, and some like to look back shamefully as they count how many hours it took them to amass their score. Personally, I like unlocking all the different background wallpapers that come with them. Others
are just fun to do and add replayability to many great games that would otherwise be finished when the story is complete.

For the US, Gamerscore is used in Xbox Rewards, unfortunately this service works only in American states, according to my information. There is no such service in Europe.

Gamerscore is also used as player rating.

And it is a challenge for players to defeat their friends with their value. And they preyed among themselves.

Gamerscore has always been about the little achievements in games, it has no monetary value, or tradability.

Yes, there were tiers in the Xbox Rewards program, until it was transitioned, but it will be up to the Microsoft Rewards team, whether they continue rewarding folks with larger gamerscores. I'd keep an eye out for any future updates or missions there, that
will address your question directly.
