What is considered good Gamerscore

It doesn't matter, as long as you are happy with the games you play.

As an example, you could be the best Halo 3 player in the world but only have 1000 gamerscore as you only ever play Halo 3.

Just play the games you like and enjoy them, don't worry about it.

It's a nice way to compete with fellow gamers or friends.

 

Basically your gamerscore just shows how many achievement points you have earned across games, other than that it cannot be used for anything and does not offer any form of reward

 

There were rumors a number of months back that they were going to start a “career system” that curated info from your entire Xbox experience that included more than Gamerscore. Sadly I don’t think this is in the works or was just a rumor. I’d like to see
more added myself.

Gamerscore has always been about the little achievements in games, it has no monetary value, or tradability.

Yes, there were tiers in the Xbox Rewards program, until it was transitioned, but it will be up to the Microsoft Rewards team, whether they continue rewarding folks with larger gamerscores. I'd keep an eye out for any future updates or missions there, that
will address your question directly.

Gamerscore is everything! Well, I guess not everything but it is a way to see your progress on Xbox games and a nice reward for performing some of the more difficult things in games. For example, some games give extra gamerscore for completing them with
a higher difficulty. I also like that the community pointed out you can rank yourself against friends too.

 

I also think that Gamerscore is a fantastic addition to our gaming experience and love collecting it and comparing myself to friends.

I would like to see something brought in like the rumoured careers system but I don't feel it is necessary.

All I would ask for is a way of showing off how many games you have 100% a bit like the PlayStation has platinum trophies.

 

i look at it as a status symbol within the gaming community

 

Would be nice if they added more to achievements.

 

Gamerscore shows your accomplishments, think of it as a leaderboard.
