What is the first thing you are going to do on CoD: Black Ops 3?

I think I will be playing some private matches with bots to get a good feel of the maps and weapons. Normally I go for campaign first.. but I am going to change it up a bit.

Improving MW3

Just to not sound like a MW3 fanboy... here is a google doc (not mine) of what IW Failed to learn from Black Ops..

What MW3 chose not to learn from Black Op

My biggest gripe is how in theater mode you can not watch other people in First person mode in MW3 but in Black Ops you can (Black Ops and MW3 record your controller imputs and the locations of other people and whom they are shooting... but only YOUR controller
imputs are recorded... and this is what is needed to playback Firstperson..... Black Ops uploaded this to the Cod servers...so you could always see Everyone's first person.... whereas MW3 DOES NOT... hence why you will never see first person other than yourself
in theater mode in MW3..)
Black Ops Combat Record is WAY SUPERIOR to the MW3 Barracks... which is utter crap... The Elite service is too slow and cumbersome to use on your console... and you have to Exit your game just to see a crap stat that Black Ops already had ingame...

 

Split Screen?

Lol, same old comments each year <sigh>, you could say the same about every game that has ever had more than one release. Black ops 2 in my opinion is going to do great things for the series, graphics are an improvement over black ops 1 (which is what we
should be comparing it to, not Mw3 which is a totally different company) the gameplay is what it's supposed to be, COD plus some new options. And it wouldn't be COD without the kill streaks. There have been enough improvements to the game and I for one am
looking forward to it. If you don't like it, don't play it

 

If I pick it up I'll be doing what I usually do and that's campaign mode on veteran

 

@Mr Boozyhead - First and foremost I love your gamertag. Secondly you are a legend playing on Veteran I have a hard enough time playing on the regular mode.

coming from a Destiny player thats rich, surely COD players buy it time and time again for the same reason Destiny players do......... lael

If I was buying it I would play zombies, then MP, don't really touch the campaign, i might get it when the price drops, I would buy zombies if it was stand alone.

 

End of the day it's still a popular game. If people continue to have fun on it then it will keep pulling gamers back. Just read this today.

I personally have zero interested in the MP side of COD now. I've more or less enjoyed all of the campaigns so will play it at some point but with the likes of Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Battlefront just around the corner this will be a game for the future.

 

Mostly I shall be playing Fallout 4...... I do like the PS trailer for it though.....

 

@Davey - I play destiny for the social and the fact its shooting mechanics are some of the best out there. Right now there isn't anything that compares - Warframe is terrible, Halo isnt particularly gripping, COD is awful, battlefield HL just isnt BF....
the list goes on.

At least Battlefront, Siege, Fallout and Division arent too far away

 

@iBakez, you didn't need to defend your reasons for playing destiny, but surely the people who play other games can have a similar view towards the games you play, hence my comment, Destiny is hardly the happiest place for players.

If you play COD you can find it just as social, different yes and a little harder to find the right people, but still very social, game play is subjective, if you consider easier better then Destiny is the place to be. (its certainly an interesting debate)

(on a side note if you put warframe in destiny it would be exceptional, the to thing which are good about each complement each other so much its not funny, you'd still need a story though lol)

 

Lol @ Enen. I was gonna say the same thing. I laugh at people on my list still playing destiny. It's like get a new game bro. I'll be playing this Friday. Campaign probably first. Did you guys hear about user maps in public playlists as well as user made
public zombies? My cousin told me yesterday and my hype levels went thru the roof.

 

THE TUTORIAL!!!

Just kidding, I might go straight to zombies. I'm boss at it in COD BO2. I have the most kills/headshots/grenade kills, out of my full Xbox 360 friends list, and at least half my friends list play COD BO2. I've tried COD AW zombies on Xbox 1.... it just
isn't the same. However I will be getting Star Wars Battlefront first, when it launches, then I'll get COD maybe next month or January next year. I'm still getting backlog heaps in Forza 6, Halo 5 on Xbox 1. But when most of my friends play on last gen including
me, prefer playing COD BO2 and Minecraft heaps upon heaps, you know why I'm getting back logged in stuff.

Anyone playing this at 12:01? I love doing that now that I'm all digital lol.

 

User made content allowed on XBOX one? unless MS have changed their stance i doubt you'll see anything user made on the XBOX, especially from a franchise known for being hacked consistently - its the reason that Unreal Tournament on 360 never got the credit
it deserved, lacked the MP additions that PS did
