What is the difference between "energy saving" and "full shutdown" on Xbox One S?

I am a new user of Xbox One S. I have a question about turn off.

I understand how "instant-on" works (downloading while standby etc.) but not that why do i prefer "energy saving" mode instead of "full shut-down"?

Is energy saving the same thing as "full shut-down" or for example, if i choose "energy-saving" mode, Xbox will open faster than choosing "full shutdown"?

Please help me!

Well, i tihnk i should fully shut down the console only when i go to the sleep (if i dont’t download games or whatever).

Turn-off (selected as energy saving) can be selected when i possibly return to play during the day.

Full shutdown is the same as energy saver. A full shutdown completely disconnects the power. It is off
off. In the instant on puts it in a low power mode that allows it to be resumed within seconds, where a full shutdown requires the xbox to reload the Operating
system. I hope this helps

That's what I am done,put my series s on energy saving and then select full shutdown after that I hear noises on the left side of series s and it won't stop noising unless I unplug it

Hello, I have the same exact problem. It is "zzzz" sounding noise when the console is turned off. I bought a new Xbox One S couple of days ago. I tried full shutdown and energy-saving mode and the intermittent BUZZ sound is coming from the integrated PSU.

I would like to know if this is normal as well.
