What is the blue screen

ok so I was playing bo3 on my Xbox one I got it a while ago so it's not brand new but it's not in bad shape at all so i finished this game and a blue screen appeared and my Xbox turns off and then a minute later it turns back on and it does the full Xbox
one thing and loads than I get to the home screen and a blue bar flashes than it goes away and I want to know does this cause problems on my Xbox?

What bars? Mine is full screen from the moment the Blu-Ray app opens.

Blu Ray player issue. Audio but no video

I'm having the exact same issue... none of my blue rays will play.. only the audio will play as the blue ray load screen stays stuck on the blue loading screen.

I might be a serious problem, but will share an experience that suggest it's not.

I used mediaplayer app and played a video clip I made from a camera I've got.

Same thing you had - entire xbox just reboot - just running an app that is poorly made.

So that not even xbox apps, microsoft one, are protected and end up on home screen tells a story that xbox one OS is not that well designed.

So unless you have problems with another game or app - it could be the game that is at fault.

So don't start sending it for repair - see what other games run or not first.

First perform a hard reset by disconnecting both the HDMI and power cable (all connections - TV, console, and wall outlet) and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting everything, then see if it’s back to normal on startup.

If the issue persists, you would need to perform a factory reset (specifically refer to the USB flash drive section if you can’t get to the settings screen on your console):

Thank you for your answer. It's to fast I can't remember what does it says when the blues screen appears. Next time I will try to remember.

A Windows blue screen stop error, more widely know as a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) can be caused by lots of different issues. Most common of which are incorrect/corrupt drivers or perhaps a hardware fault.

Can you please provide more details of the error such as screenshot or what the stop error actually says on screen?
