    What is the best way to achieve an open NAT type .


    I currently have a speed stream 4300 router connected to an linksys WRT54G modem , I already tried port forwarding and port triggering , dmz and unpnp on the modem setup page . someone help i need to get an open nat on my xbox one. Thanks!

    I just checked and yes my NAT is set to open.

    your nat type can change from open to moderate or strict it is very annoying mine dose it all the time but open is the best nat type to have.

    Hey there Xaqix,

    It appears that the Linksys WRT54G is actually a Router and not a Modem and the Speedstream 4300 is your Modem. No big deal though, to obtain an Open NAT you'll want to follow this
    guide from Port Forward. If you're still having issues beyond that, you'll need to reach out to Linksys who has the best information on your Router to help troubleshoot.
