    What is the benefit of having Cloud gaming on an Xbox?


    I saw that Microsoft is rolling out betas to the Cloud gaming service for Xbox owners and I just curious why someone would need this?

    Is it supposed to give you better performance if you're on a last gen console? Like allowing for 4k if you let's say have a Xbox one S.

    When I say better performance I'm referring to how it uses your internet bandwidth instead of local hardware.

    One of the benefits of games using Microsoft's Cloud services is the dedicated servers. Whether or not there are other benefits, that at least is pretty cool.
