So for christmas I got my son Assassin's Creed Unity, Advanced Warfare and Master Chief Collection.

He put in Assassin's Creed and he could not play the game, age restricted.

I went through all the settings and he was set to play anything he wants.

As it turns out, he can't play any of the games I bought him.

All are for adults and he is 18 but the account was a gift from his uncle who thought he was 10 when he was 13.

His age had not been a problem until now.

I spent 600-700 dollars on a brick, that I can play and I am usually at work and never have time (look at my gamerscore)

My son also doesn't want a new account as all of his Uplay information and gamerscore (35,000+) are on that account.

So did I spend all that money on a gift that he can't even use?

What is he meant to do, wait 3 years to play all of those games that will all likely be outdated by then?

    :)

Just changed my E-mail but can't use the old one to change E-mail on another Xbox account.

That wasn't what I meant, what I meant is how long do I need to wait to use my primary e-mail on my primary xbox live account since I've already changed my primary email with some secondary email. Do I again need to wait for a month until I can use my primary
email to replace the email on my primary xbox live account ?

    can't change back my region

region changes are not meant to be a temp thing they are meant for those who PHYSICALLY move to a new one that is why you have to wait 3 months to change them so people don't do it for what you are trying to do (redeem a US card on a Canadian account). sorry
you will have to wait the 90 days and next time buy a Canadian card it is a LOT less hassle and also do not bump a thread from almost a year ago it is ALWAYS best to start a fresh one thanks.

Hey, I am an Xbox Live Ambassador, And from what i am reading, your son wont be able to play an age restricted game on your account. Your options are to make a new account, or to simply wait for the next games when your accounts age is appropriate for the
game. **I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE OR A PROFESSIONAL** JUST PART OF @XBoX 's COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR TEAM!

  7. As parents you have parental controls to lock them out with but unless you have run the updates why should you be allowed to play the game?

Other thing you could do is run the updates, take the console offline and sign out of the profile and resign into the profile when the game has started to load up in order to try to trick the console

Anything related to UPLAY and UPLAY restrictions are from UBISOFT and not the Xbox One before you go blaming Microsoft.

The age is unable to be corrected unfortunately, as per Microsoft's note below.

Note The age of an account owner is calculated by using the date of birth provided when the account was created. This date cannot be changed. If you entered an incorrect date of birth when you created the account, your only option is to create a new account
using the correct date of birth. This option is available only if the date of birth for the account indicates that you have reached the age of adulthood (18 in the United States). The legal adult age varies by country and region. (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-360-online-safety)

You can however adjust the child restrictions on the console...

Call xbox support and have them help you change his information. You can do it right on your xbox 360 but Im not sure where on the xbox one. Perhaps on a PC. You may also need to update infor on ubisoft account.
