What is Microsoft doing?

Its been nearly seven hours since your last update and over 18 hours since I have been able to access my friends list.

The error codes we are getting aren't even in your data base.

The best we are getting is an occasional update saying "Thank you for your patience"

Thats not cutting it anymore. Patience throughout the community is wearing thin now. Very thin.

We are paying for a service we are not getting and the times its taking to fix/update us is absolutely atrocious.

We want to play with our friends and so far we have seen no proof, no answers, and no fix.

Why is it taking this long to fix this problem? what is going on and why are we without a service you make us pay for?

What is Microsoft thinking?

Ok, just got and Xbox one last night after having the ps4 for about a year. The reason I got the Xbox was to continue the saga of one of me and my brother's favorite games; gears of war 4. Well I did my research on it and knew that when you first started
it up it requires Internet for the update, which was ok for a one time thing, I just hooked up my hotspot off my tablet and it took awhile but it finally got updated (my internet is terrible cause I live in the middle of nowhere). But then I have to create
an account just to make a profile? Why is there no offline option? So after about 45 minutes I finally got it set up and by this point I'm just agitated and impatient, all I wanted to do was play some split screen coop with my little brother. Then I had to
install the game which got interrupted about 50 times with update notifacations one was even for my remote which was just insulting so after all of this I didn't even get to play the game. So I unplugged it and put it back into the box. I do realize it is
partially my fault for not knowing what I was getting into but still what happened to just turning on your console and playing a fricken game without all this bs? I just had to get this off my chest I don't even really know how these forums work so sorry to
the people that actually get a good experience from Xbox one, but I just wish that the people without access to the Internet would have a little more freedom.

What is the problem Microsoft? You said 2 months ago that there was a problem connecting to the server and that you were working on it. WELL????? Can you PLEASE fix it?

[/quote]Better bad PR than no PR in my opinion, aka $ony. I haven't heard didly squat about PlayStation 4 (Off topic, at least where their dash is concerned, advertising their console, etc) since their reveal, but I guess that's
$ony for ya, always hush hush about PlayStation and least favorite/useful/helpful GUI. At least M$ is making an effort and informing people what's what.
