What is Microsoft doing for Gamers due to their Complete Failure to Provide Service

I am going off into left field maybe, but I am sitting here as a returned Xbox Player and a 14 Year Xbox Live Game Fan, but I am just wondering what Microsoft is doing to make it up to the gamers who bought into their Digital Only Platform of Gaming to find
it doesn't work and this is the outcome of putting faith into the Company. I still have a Nintendo that I can Play even if the Nintendo Website goes Offline, but installing an update can make my Xbox One X go crazy and stop me from playing THOUSANDS in Games.

What can we expect Microsoft? I still have to pay for my Xbox Live, I still pay for Game Pass, I still have to Pay my ESO Monthly Subscription, I Still Have to Pay EA Access.... Terrible Experience so Far.

To add you can also play digital titles off line. Switching your system to offline allows you to play as long as your system is set as "home"

All services have outages, this is not just tied to Gaming consoles or even Xbox. If any company promises you a service that is paid and NEVER have a downtime or outage they are lying.

I don't really know how you define "Complete Failure to Provide Service". Personally, I have very little time when I want to play that I can't. If you read the Terms of Service you will see that situations like the previous outage is covered so you shouldn't
really expect and compensation for the outage since you have been made aware of there terms of service when you signed up. A little patience goes a long way in helping to keep down your frustrations. I suggest another hobby to go along with gaming. Maybe
read a good book.

How would you like Microsoft to compensate you less than 1 cent per hour for each hour you can't access the service?

I agree that service interruptions are annoying however in my experience, my cable provider has caused me way more wasted service cost for outages due to their infrastructure problems than what it costs to use Xbox Live. I'm just glad that Microsoft has
a Support team that works to restore service as quickly as they can.

They don't need to do anything. The
Microsoft Services Agreement states: "We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. In the
event of an outage, you may not be able to retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content and Data that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services."

When a Nintendo Switch or 3DS title needs an update, you can't play that game until it finishes. Same on Xbox One ... you can play other titles while the other game updates in the background.
