What is Microsoft doing about hackers??

Hacking in the black ops 2 lobbies has gotten worse over the past few years, my online data has been hack multiple times in the past few months, i have rang support but they suggest reporting the offenders and selecting avoid player.

so last Friday night my friends and i decide to go have a few games, for 2 hrs we managed to have maybe 3 lobbies that played properly.

so my night starts with this player called [MOD Removed - Please see

player who shares his hacks with his mate [MOD Removed - Please see Forum Guidelines]...... here is a vid of

and then look..... it [MOD Removed - Please see Forum Guidelines] yet again after being marked as avoided????



this post is to see how quick xbox live will edit/moderate a post in the forum V's how long it takes to block/remove a hacker from this community........ Xbox you have given backwards play to games that are riddled with hackers and yet your ability to remove
these hackers is clearly lacking. i will be doing a search of these players in a few days to see if they get banned before you moderate these losers names n vids off this post...

What is Microsoft doing?

Its been nearly seven hours since your last update and over 18 hours since I have been able to access my friends list.

The error codes we are getting aren't even in your data base.

The best we are getting is an occasional update saying "Thank you for your patience"

Thats not cutting it anymore. Patience throughout the community is wearing thin now. Very thin.

We are paying for a service we are not getting and the times its taking to fix/update us is absolutely atrocious.

We want to play with our friends and so far we have seen no proof, no answers, and no fix.

Why is it taking this long to fix this problem? what is going on and why are we without a service you make us pay for?

Are you using the Xbox (beta) app? If so, can you please submit a report about this issue via the "report a problem" button. If you're not using the beta app, can you please download and try viewing messages again?

sorry to hear that the hackers/cheater took over a game.

Naming and shaming isn't allowed on the forums.

The only way to go is as support suggested: Report offenders through the Xbox system and select avoid player.

The enforcement team that issues bans isn't on this forum, so they won't read your message here.

 

um .. a game....... 2hrs of hacked lobbies bro, block/avoid and i still end up back with the same hackers over and over and when they hack so far into your xbox that they know which HDMI slot its plugged into the TV something needs to be done to fix this rubbish,
my data has been hacked and i get zero response from Xbox.......

so i will name and shame until they ban me, then the legal action will begin!!!!!!

Sorry to hear you've experienced this. It is the main reason that I do not play any CoD games. However, support informed you incorrectly. No one on the forums can help with this.

Your best bet here would be to report the users you find via the dashboard reporting tools. Go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided. That report will be sent to the PET to investigate and take any necessary action
on. Please be aware that they do get thousands of reports per day so it could take a bit of time.

As for the hackers themselves. CrazY is correct that naming and shaming on these forums is not allowed. What I would recommend though is to contact the developers of the game to voice your complaint about what is going on in pvp. They are well aware of
what is going on and it is up to them to implement changes to prevent it from happening.
