What is Microsoft doing about defective elite xbox one controllers!!!

I'm just sick. I am on my third controller in a little over a year. Luckily the first one was under warranty and got to return it, thought it was just a factory defect. 2nd one lasted about 2 months and joystick pulled up and stuck all the time. Now
my third one has drift on the left joystick and makes it impossible to play most games. And it is only a little over a year old. Reading all reviews on sites looks like they have about a 40% fail rate in less than a year. This is way to high of a fail
rate for a $150 controller that is supposed to be top of the line.... What is MS doing about this? is there a recall or are we just stuck with them?

CONTROLLER ISSUES - NO HELP FROM MICROSOFT

I second that. There should be some sort of replacement program: I give Microsoft the defective Xbox one controller back, they offer me the Elite controller at a discounted price.

Now, I had to buy 2 controllers, so, what do you say Microsoft? Further discount?

Defective Xbox one elite controllers

Just giving you a little feedback from my own accounts.

My Elite is working fine and I haven't seen any 'problem' reports of the Elite builds.

I do know I thought something was up and I had been putting the batteries in incorrectly (I didn't notice the polarization marks on the contacts). I put the batteries in correctly and off wee went. One thing I noticed playing some games (as another note
to remember), if triggers aren't working and you have set the short travel on the triggers that may affect the use of the trigger in the game (found this in Destiny and Warframe and The Division).

Hope you have luck getting your new controller back soon and you can start enjoying it.

My Elite controller left thumb sick floats up and down. I've only had it for about 7 months with very limited use. Microsoft only has a 90 day warranty, for a faulty product which is BS for a $200 controller! Every other company I know of would replace
a defective product and stand by their products, but Microsoft doesn't. Don't buy an elite controller from Microsoft because they produce defective products and will not replace them.

In order to find the removable parts to buy for an Elite controller you have to register your Xbox One and then register your Elite Controller under the accessories tab for your Xbox One.

I have yet to call about getting replacement paddles, but I will REFUSE to buy replacement paddles for something that I received defective. Microsoft needs to suck it up and supply replacements especially since demand is high for the controller and they
are hard to find in stock anywhere.
