I found out that it's something that is asked for permissions from the Gotham Knights video game, Mercury asked for account access only once when launching Gotham Knights from windows 11 xbox app, I had removed it again from my account, and relaunched Gotham knights the second time it didn't ask permission to access my account. I asked Bing chat about it, it has nothing to do with the EA games problems I had, but I had to uninstall and then reinstall that app for whatever reason anyway to make EA games app log in again. which is not related to this game as far as I know. it's a separate problem, it might have just been a server problem I don't know.

in any case I don't recall giving Gotham Knights permissions I may of just click on it and didn't remember that Mercury is connected to it, the email was from 12:54 AM, my desktop pc was off around that time. Either it asked for the permissions on my Xbox, and on that day I don't remember having my pc on early than 4pm or I just had access the game on my console and it give it permissions then I am not sure, I did install it to my pc, but I thought it was the other day that it had finished downloading it, unless that email didn't show up until 12AM again I am not sure about when Mercury got the permission for Gotham knights game for sure.

I leaned its connected to that game when I had launched it, then I asked what Mercury is to Bing chat, that's how I found out its connected with its video games engine I am not sure why it needs my accounts access Information. it's fine if that's normal, it doesn't say under the account settings from manage your apps that Mercury is connected with Gotham knights. nowhere on the apps link under my account does it even say it's from Gotham knights, I had to find it out this way. I guess it's normal for it not to say what game it connected to, but that information would have been helpful when looking at the Manage your apps. to web page link from the email, I got on it, and even in the email itself it's not telling me it's a Gotham knights app for the data access.

I am going to move this post to games and xbox app area on this forum. since its related to an xbox app, and video game, now that I know more about what Mercury is that is asking for permission when the game is ran on windows 11.

    :)
