What is happening with the Series X Hardware suddenly?

What the actual hell is going on with the Xbox Series X hardware all of a sudden?

It is a $500, noisy center piece that lights up is what it is now, basically. It can’t even hold an internet connection for more than 20 seconds after an update that it said the system needed?

5.89 Mbps download speeds. HARDWIRED.

Question though: where is the 800 GBPs that was there before this update? Stop blaming the internet companies for the incompetence of the updates being rolled out. If the company spent as much time on quality programming as they do coming up with ways to avoid responsibility for the problems in their programming, perhaps something could be done—until then, you’ll just keep blaming the internet companies, or the users tv, etc, that’s not the point…

The point is: My Xbox cannot even keep an internet connection constantly via Ethernet since the update and it has only been 30 minutes. What do you plan to do about this?

Is it only happening with Halo? Because this could be a hardware issue, I had a similar problem with ALL my games when the Series X launched.

I think it's an issue with the new controllers for some reason. My Series X controller will freeze once a week or so (always when I'm in the middle of a race unsurprisingly!!)....I'll be driving and my car will suddenly just veer off the road and then be constantly accelerating. Only resets when I remove the battery from it. This is on the Series X so may not be the same of course.

Having said that, it has only happened with the Plug and Play Battery...never happened with normal rechargeables.

Other than that, maybe next generation they should consider some kind of harware bc approach instead of the current software emulation...

This is already happening. The Series X|S is the same hardware architecture as the Xbox One. Which is why all Xbox One games work on the latest Series hardware. No software emulation.

Same thing happens to me except I'm on Series X. Halo Support hasn't been much help and Xbox Support told me it isn't a hardware issue. So frustrating!
