What is going on with Xbox App for PC?

Same issue. You can still play any games you've downloaded using the start menu. I plan to just cancel the subscription and play what I have downloaded. Its a joke that we can't directly contact a support team for such an issue. Microsoft can't even
create an app for their own OS. Absurd.

These steps can help you, give it a try.

Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.

5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

If the problem persists, perform an in-place upgrade.

The best way to keep those clips is, install the Xbox app on your laptop or pc. Then on your console go to your captures and upload them to one drive and upload them to live. Then go to the Xbox app on pc or laptop click on the captures and scroll through
what is live and download the clips to your pc or laptop in a file.

Hi Farcher2001, What version of the app are you using? Are you also experiencing this issue when using the Xbox App beta? you can DL the app by going to the store on your PC and searching for "Xbox App beta".

Oh, you will not be doing this from the Xbox setting but the settings on the app itself from your PC. You need to go to you PC settings for that then go to apps then find Xbox app.
