what is error code (0x80831002)

I've already tried and done everything listed in this and I'm still getting the error. The error code 0x80831002 isn't even in the list of error codes.

Thank you for your reply. I had same problem. I could not find code. And there was enough of them to go through. I was really mad they give you a code that is not there. I can't believe you just can't enter it and find it. Thanks Microsoft for making me go through all your codes! And i've double and triple checked it. I guess I can't play games till monday when i can call them. you say there is an online chat? Is that closed on weekends to? Thank you again for trying.

Had to press x box button on console for 10 seconds and then restart and sign in again. Worked!! I'm amazed but happy now . Thanks "thisgame is sucky"

The online web chats are available every day of the week 24/7! You have to fiddle with it a little bit when you first open the web chat, because it makes you talk to a bot for a few questions but then you can request to speak to a person. If you feel as if talking to an actual support agent on the phone is easier than having to mess with the webchat to get a support person, then I would personally wait. I prefer to call them too.

And I understand your frustration completely. I hate getting random error codes so much too. It happens to everyone, sadly. There's a lot of them, but that's living in the age of technology for you. Lol.
