What is considered to be "offensive language"?

So sorry for the grammar I don't really care about it but as the title says what is considered to be offensive i.e does that only include language? Also, does Microsoft look at your bio when searching, I and my friends make jokes about things that shouldn't
be joked about like Syria Sudan Rwanda Mexico, etc? So is it offensive to make a joke about the Syrian CW?

As for your "jokes" during a chat with your friends: As long as your friends don't report you, you can say anything you want.

In our group of friends we often cuss and swear, but we do that in our own private Party.

In a public lobby we keep it more civil

Yes,the enforcement team do look at your bio.Everything you do on xbox live must be rated E for everyone & not violate the ToU/CoC,including your bio.

What you have posted violates this part of the Code of Conduct:

Profane words or phrases
Topics or content of a sexual nature
Hate speech
Controversial religious topics
Notorious people or organizations
Sensitive current or historical events

Simple OJ

Anything that is showing a toxic behavior is considered offensive behavior. Making jokes about someone or a country can be considered offensive to them but not to you.

Everything you have mentioned may be considered offensive language and end up getting you banned or suspended permantly from xbox live.

Anything can really be offensive to anyone in any situation. For say one person can see it as a joke but the other could take it personally. So you really have to watch what you say a lot.
