What is considered good Gamerscore

Any number is a good number. It means you're getting to play games and that is always a good thing.

 

I am at around 40k and i i have had a xbox from the day the original xbox came out , i also was one of the first groups of xbox live beta testers! I paid for the beta kit from microsoft and was told there was only around 2k of us at the time. I still have
my Dislk amd headset that came with my Beta kit! I have a friend that had a gamerscore of around 140k ! But he always teies to get every achievement in the gamea he plays . My 40k i got just by playing the gamea for fun. I have over 150 games and i say 140
movies so Xbox has made a small fourtune off of me lol

 

It would be really hard to say what a good gamerscore is as it is really subjective based on what you think is a good score.

You will see the odd person with over 100k gamerscore but generally a lot of players you go against will be under 10k or lower.

If you wanted to see how yours stacks up you could use websites like true achievements.

 

It doesn't matter, as long as you are happy with the games you play.

As an example, you could be the best Halo 3 player in the world but only have 1000 gamerscore as you only ever play Halo 3.

Just play the games you like and enjoy them, don't worry about it.

I've only got 28,000 and I've been playing for 6 years.

 

Anything more than 5 is awesoome.

Adding on to the other responses, there isn't necessarily a set gamerscore that qualifies one as being good. Back when Xbox Live Rewards was a thing, they used to give gamers rewards based on the amount of gamerscore that they had. With a higher gamerscore,
you could have a higher rate of earning points. I have attached an image below for further reference.
