    What Is Causing This?


    Hello all,

    I'm having an issue when I play Skyrim Special Edition on my PC where a white static bar flashes across the screen over and over again. https://youtube.com/shorts/PJVcgvUZL1Q?feature=share If I record a clip in game it doesn't appear to get captured. It happens with a fresh install, no mods running. It also doesn't happen if I run the game in windowed mode, only full screen.

    Specs:

    Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core

    Ram: 16GB

    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

    Windows 11

    It does seem to be the only game it is happening on. I've gone in and updated all drivers for my GPU and matched my refresh rates only the card and display. I even limited fps thinking that might have been causing it. But it's still happening.

    Hi,

    Kind of difficult one to diagnose. Your Windows GameBar recording (or other third party recording app) likely won't record this glitch as they just record that application, not the display.

    Is this the only game your display does this?

    Have you gone into your display settings or the video graphics driver settings and checked your display resolution and refresh rate are correct?

    What would cause this?

    Its a downlaoaded game. And when I swapped the xbox to see if it was the xbox or tv I used all the same connections (including the HDMI) that the x was connected to with no issues. Its just really strange because other than that the one x works fine it
    seems. But it does this on a few other games too but not all so it makes no sense.
