    What is being done if anything?


    I would like to know if the problems my friends and family face on a daily basis are being worked on or at least planned to be worked on.



    Console freezing

    Game freezing

    Controller freezing

    In game problems such as -

    Can not hear others in game or lobby

    You can hear others but no one can hear you

    Can not get into friends rooms

    Friends can not get into your room

    Randomly being dropped from games or during loading screens

    Nat types changing for no apparent or logical reason

    (its not just the game because its like this with every multiplayer game on the One)



    I've been playing on LIVE for over a decade now so have many of my friends who experience these same problems everyday. The truth is we expect better and a lot of us are unhappy. Can anyone here who knows what I'm talking about please tell me these issues
    are being worked on? Thanks

    Is anything being done?

    Both the sticky, and halo waypoint have not been updated for a solid week. Forum posts are accumulating with no response in site. The community mod from 343i is redirecting people to xbl support, while xbl support is directing people back to halo waypoint.

    WHAT IS THIS garbage? I'd understand if there were constant updates or reassurement, or even straight up telling me you're SoL dewd. With the crimson map pack fubar I have every reason to believe that this is going to be put on the backburner and will eventually
    be forgotten in the hopes that people stop posting.

    I've contacted 18004myxbox 3 times, and talked to online support. Online support offered me 800 ms point in compensation which I declined. So tell me mods, are people SoL or is it still being worked out? I just want a simple update. That's all I'm asking
    for.

    So shoot, and if you gotta kill.

    Is anything being done?

    Most retailers have a policy where if you open the game it's non-refundable. That would directly be up to the retailer to refund you or not, yes.

    Xbox are always working on updating to make everything we want better I understand your frustration. I also wish updates could come out there and then but things do take time yes I understand they have been working on it for ages but just hang it there!
    Now the good thing is before Xbox One updates come out the "Xbox Preview Program" get to test these updates before it's released to the world and trust me they are working on Party chat, connecting to games and more. Just hand in there and Xbox Live will be
    better in no time! What is being done if anything? :)

  5. I find it a bit rediculous for numerous reasons... One, the Xbox 360 rarely had these issues and when they did it wasn't long before they were fixed... Two, communicating in game and through party chat was simple and 99% of the time working... Three, it's
    a new gen system that in itself had very few improvements from the 360... We pay $60+ A year for a service that is well below par... Games in general are getting worse and worse with little replay value and you have to live off a hope and a prayer that you
    can not only connect and talk to friends but that the servers will work and you can actually get into an online game with that friend... I'm a hardcore gamer and have had ex box from the first month it was released until now... And I can honestly say I am
    close to selling and discontinuing my service and support

  7. See here in lies the problem the 360 and the one are very different so comparing how they ran now makes no sense. 360 has been around for 10 plus yrs xbone has been out for 1 yr. Try a hard reset of your console by holding your finger over the power button
    for 5-10 sec or until psu light turns orange, for nat issues try resetting your router or modem to see if that helps.

    @progamer We all know what to do when something freezes by now, like I said a lot of these issues happen often. Myself and others have nothing wrong with our connections or our router/modems. Its the Xbox One. My iphone doesnt freeze or lag up nor do the
    two lap tops and ipad that are being used everyday off the same ip and same equipment.

    I'm not here to say things like well I'll just get a PS4 or I'll just return my One. I'm here to speak for the many people I know and play with who are simply unsatisfied for what we paid for. And to ask what is being done about these issues.

  10. Let's stick to answering the question. The thread is asking for information of when these issues are to resolved(fixed) and I for one have special interest in the mic always on issue, as it is affecting me personally.

    It is irrelevant to the topic how Sony are performing as a company. Also threatening to leave Xbox SHOULD bother someone, Xbox(Microsoft) themselves, as you can not simply disregard a paying customer when they have a complaint with solidarity.

    I myself and pretty much everyone else with these problems have knowledge of all means of attempting a fix, what we want is a patch for the system error. No information has been given to either highlight awareness of the situation, or to make it aware that
    an update and patch is on the horizon.

    I suggest anybody with twitter to contact both Xbox, Microsoft and Xbox support about these issues, as this is bad press for them, so they shall deal with it faster. Because to be frank, the response time otherwise is difficult to describe without the use
    of explicit language.

    The miscommunication lies there. The OP who is having the issues didn't say anything about leaving Xbox. He said he WASN'T one of those people that is coming on here saying he wanted to leave Xbox. The other user did say he was close to it. So yes, the addition
    of sony to this conversation was irrelevant. Let's stop trying to compare things and focus on the Xbox.

    As an X1 user I can understand the frustration about not being able to speak in party, not being able to play games, etc. However it can still all be expressed without explicit language and hostility towards other people.

    I will say my not being able to hear people in a party was solved when I fixed my NAT from moderate to open. I'm not entirely sure if you've tried that. There's also a setting to see if you have it blocked. Settings - Privacy and Online Safety - Adult Defaults.
    Or you can customize them to exactly what you want and don't want to share. Although you definitely want to make sure that your "Communicate with voice and text" is set to Everyone. I'm not entirely sure what you've tried because it just lists the problems.

    Console freezing, this has happened to me twice. Each time I've just had to hard reset the Xbox. I for one don't really like touching my button because I like to keep it clean. Lol. Have you checked to see if there is an update for your console? Just double
    checking to make sure it isn't there. After you hard reset the box unplug the power unit from the back, press the xbox button make sure all the juice is out of it. Count to about 15 plug it back in, turn it back on see if that helps out any there.

    Controller freezing. Have you tried the controller update? Settings - Device and Accessories - Click on the controller (it'll be assigned to a user) - update it. Make sure your headset and USB are firmly attached to the controller and begin the update. Takes
    roughly 1-3 minutes to update. Might solve your problem there.

    I've honestly never heard about NAT type just changing randomly like that, so you may want to get you a ticket going or a support agent going for that one. Although that sounds like it would take care of your Chat options as well as being able to enter a
    game. Have you ran through the NAT solution page that Xbox has up?

    Game freezing is it all of your games or just certain games? Which may tie into the console freeze. Is your console freezing when the game does?

    As far as CoDFather I'm not sure if you'll log back in to read this but - this issue has everything to do with the console not games. As far your issue about games not having a replay value, you are more than welcome to contact the owners of whichever games
    you are having issues with and letting them know. They all have twitter support as well as forum support as far as I'm aware. Although I have no current issues with any of the games I'm playing as far as replay value. As far as servers go, sometimes they go
    down yes, however everyone on any support team including games, internet, phones, etc will have engineers who start working on getting them back up as soon as they possibly can.

    I'm not entirely sure how spamming their twitter to try and make them look bad is going to make it any better, as they are already aware of the issue and working on fixing said issues. Like I said I know it's frustrating, I've had issues and there are ongoing
    issues that are being looked at. But trying to make a company look bad is a tad bit....meh.

    I think I might have hit everything Steel, but again I'm not sure what all you've tried for everything. So I hope at least some of this is helpful.

    I don't have to try and make the company look bad it does it on its own and to respond with the fact the 360 has been out for ten plus years, I believe I said I bought the 360 when it first came out at the end of 2005 and it had nowhere near the amount of
    issues the one is having.... And ur response may be that it has more hardware this more issues because of it but that's the problem, it's a new gen system like I stated above and there should have been much more testing and configuring to it before it was
    released instead of putting a unfinished system out on the market... And every successful business out there would tell you the customer is first and when customers are unpleased with a company, the company should have the motto "the customer is always right"
    and try to resolve the issue... And there's not a whole lot more complexity between systems when you're tLking about something as simple as the party chat not working... I'm done, I hope you get aids

  15. Sorry Alariaria if you interpreted my comment as trying to make the company look bad. I have made the suggestion so the response time to the problem(s) is shortened. I only said to contact them with any issues, not to say that Xbox have dealt with the situation
    badly, this is up to the individuals perception. Can't control freedom of speech blah blah blah you know.

    Thanks for the fixes, they do not work though I'm afraid.
